barbara bologna

i live my péché orginel/ fall & winter 2025

from somewhere, someone decided that blame would always fall on women. From Eve onwards, she created the weight of the world: temptress, witch, embodiment of imbalance, sinner.

Barbra Bologna, however, embraces this sin. In fact, she loves it.

FW 25–26, the designer overturns the myth of original send, transforming it into an act of freedom. “I love my péché originel “ is not a confession, but a declaration of love for existence. Eating the apple is not guilt – it’s knowledge. It’s liberation. It’s the right choice. But Barbara Bologna doesn’t just narrate, declare, or celebrate female independence. She involves us. she forces us to take part. She asks questions, challenges certainties, leaving it to others – to us – to answer.

  1. if the forbidden fruit were right in front of you now, would you crush it with hatred or devour it with ferocity?
  2. what do you think about a world that keeps using the concept of “sin“ to dictate what you can or can’t do?
  3. what, in your opinion, truly deserves to be called a sin?
  4. what is your favorite sin?
  5. do you feel like a sinner? If so, does it make you happy?
  6. do you often feel free? Ever thought about it? We often learn to be what Mas influence tells or suggest us to be, but where does true creative freedom of each individual lie?
  7. what sensation overcomes you when you bite into an apple?

seven questions in total, like the seven deadly sins, posed with the precision of a surgeon and empathy of an intuitive soul.

Everyone is a part of the game when it comes to Barbara Bologna – both those who asked the questions and those who embody them. Making belonging universal. This collection does not play with seduction. It does not seek approval. It is an ode to those unafraid to cross the threshold, to touch the forbidden and make it their own.

silhouettes, broken and reassembled with the ease of those who know that clothing is both armor and second skin. Fabrics that seem to hold memories, drapery, that challenges form, details that push beyond the temptation of déjà vu.

bodies are not contained; they are celebrated – in a radically inclusive, aesthetic that elevates identity beyond borders.

Her work is a declaration of independence, and uncompromising made in Italy luxury built on craftsmanship and consciousness. Every piece is born from a sustainable process, from eco-friendly prints to the meticulous selection of materials.

Barbara Bologne creates fashion on her own terms, without concessions.

that, in the end, is her original sin
